Sean graduated with a B.A. from Tulane University in 2011 and a J.D. from Tulane Law School in 2015. Shortly after taking the bar exam, he began working in the legal department of a publicly-traded Fortune 500 technology and manufacturing conglomerate, where he negotiated a wide variety of government and commercial transactions, such as production and supply agreements, licensing agreements, and strategic alliances, both in the United States and internationally. One of his most significant projects was the negotiation and management of an $850 million contract for the sale of armored military vehicles to a U.S. ally. He also participated in the management of outside litigation, particularly in the areas of product liability, commercial disputes, and insurance.

During law school, Sean was a member of Tulane Moot Court, where he participated on the Ruby R. Vale Corporate Appellate Litigation team and represented Tulane at oral arguments in Wilmington, Delaware. The following year, Sean served as a coach for the Pace National Environmental Law Appellate Litigation team, which competed in White Plains, New York. Sean also worked as a law clerk in the legal department of a local commercial bank and worked part-time during the school year in a plaintiff’s insurance litigation firm, where he helped to maintain a docket of over 700 active cases.

Sean joined Ron Austin in 2018 to focus on complex litigation and the more personal matters affecting individuals. He is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and has called New Orleans home since 2007. Sean is a member of the Louisiana State Bar.
