Sean is a strategic problem solver who directs his energy towards relentlessly advocating for clients. He joined Ron Austin Law in September 2018 and handles a variety of complex class actions, personal injury, and mass tort cases, including multi-state and multi-district litigation. Sean’s experience spans pharmaceuticals, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, wrongful death, mesothelioma, product liability, environmental litigation, and personal injury matters across the globe.
Sean began his legal career in the in-house legal department of a publicly-traded Fortune 500 corporation, where he negotiated contracts involving the sale of military equipment to the United States and its allies. Sean eventually became corporate counsel for a portfolio of businesses with $1.9 billion in annual revenue.

He has experience negotiating a wide variety of government and commercial transactions with multi-billion dollar companies, as well as with governments around the world. That experience has made Sean especially meticulous and fearless in the face of daunting challenges.
Sean is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and moved to New Orleans in 2007 to attend Tulane University. In his first semester, when he volunteered to build houses during the recovery from Hurricane Katrina, he knew he would be calling New Orleans home. Sean continued his commitment to community service by leading and growing tutoring programs for students with dyslexia at two elementary schools, while also volunteering at Tulane Law School’s Domestic Violence Clinic. Sean then went on to serve as President of Tulane’s Pre-Law Society and as an Officer on the Newcomb-Tulane College Honor Board.
After graduation, Sean attended Tulane University Law School, where he became a member of the Moot Court Board. Sean first served as a member of the corporate appellate litigation team and later as a coach of the environmental appellate litigation team. During law school, Sean worked part-time in a plaintiff’s insurance litigation firm, where he helped to manage a docket of over 700 active cases. He also worked as a law clerk in the legal department of a local commercial bank.
Sean’s education and work experience have combined to sharpen his legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. His motivation above all else is fairness and ensuring that his clients’ rights are zealously protected and enforced to the fullest extent under the law. In his free time, Sean enjoys working out, running, kayaking, and traveling.
